After listening to your ideas and coming up with some of our own we’ll measure your space and work up a preliminary itemized quote. This itemized quote is used as a preliminary guideline for designing your project. The landscape ideas and the budget will be the foundation used for creating your project.
Where design and budget meet
Once a budget is set Alder Group will start working on your beautiful landscape design putting it on paper with the help of our designer, Don will then set up a meeting to introduce you to our designer, who will then help review and finalize your wants and dreams before starting your creative design.
Based on our initial conversation and your current landscape, I have briefly described the steps needed to make this project a success.
First Draft Design
Alder Group puts the first draft ideas on paper; we meet for a “focus group” review. The first draft is hardscape only and is left with you to look over and study, make edits on locations and elevations, type of material and color of material. This pertains to retaining wall types and color, fire pit types and color, fire place types and color, seat walls types and color, concrete patio and steps, shapes, type and color, BBQ’s/ outdoor kitchens types and color, structure details, types and color, fountain types and color, these are all permanent structures. Once first draft edits have been decided on, the design is revised for its final draft.
Final Draft Design
Alder Group puts it all together and designs in plant types and sizes, plant palate selected will stand the test of time and give you long term enjoyment, lighting manufacture and styles , drainage type and locations. Once approved, Alder Group will send out for structural designs for engineering, and necessary permits. This would be time to submit your design to your homeowners association for approval. After this, work can begin.
